On May 25, 2018, a new Privacy Regulation (GDPR) was implemented across the EU and EEA. This
regulation mandates standardized processes for handling personal data of employees,
customers, partners, and other users, ensuring greater transparency regarding who processes
this data, while granting individuals the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their
data. In compliance, Soundmade ApS has established a privacy policy to safeguard the
personal data of its users.
Soundmade ApS (referred to as “Soundmade” in this policy) is committed to maintaining user
trust by protecting personal data collected in relation to the Soundmade website, Soundmade
services, or any associated applications (including mobile applications), collectively termed “the
Service.” This Privacy Policy explains how and why Soundmade collects, uses, stores, shares, and
protects your personal data. It also describes your rights regarding the collection and use of
personal information, including how you can update, manage, and delete your data.
By registering and using our service, you agree to the collection, use, and sharing of your
personal information as described in this privacy policy in countries where Soundmade, its
affiliates, or service providers operate. We handle personal data responsibly, adhering to the
requirements set forth by Danish and EU data protection laws.
Soundmade processes several types of personal data, including but not limited to general
information and sensitive data such as your name, location, as well as other data provided by
you through the Service. By using the Service, you agree to share this information with
Soundmade and acknowledge that this data is accessible to other users of the Service in
accordance with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Collected Data Includes:
● Account and Profile Data:
○ Email, phone number, payment details, images, profile information, language, and
geographic location.

○ Messages, images, comments, videos, music, pledges, votes, polls, reviews and
interactions on the Service

Soundmade processes your data to provide and enhance the Service and to optimize user

Additionally, we use data to comply with the latest standards for user interface (UI) and user

business operations. Soundmade complies with GDPR guidelines to ensure data protection
across jurisdictions, including transfers outside the EU.

Soundmade reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy. Any updates will be posted on the
Service, and users are advised to review the policy periodically.
Only authorized employees of Soundmade, and its affiliates or service providers, who require
access to perform work-related tasks, can access your personal data.
How does Soundmade protect your information?
Soundmade encrypts your personal data during transmission and storage, ensuring that only a
limited number of employees have access based on job requirements.
To safeguard your account, we verify your identity before granting access by requesting, for
example, a unique password. However, while Soundmade strives to protect your data, we
cannot guarantee that the service will be impervious to unauthorized access or data breaches.
If you communicate with another user through Soundmade’s service or submit a job
application, Soundmade does not enforce compliance with data protection laws on these
external users. However, we encourage all users to treat personal data with confidentiality and
respect, consistent with this policy.
Soundmade anonymizes personal information whenever possible and appropriate.
Who does Soundmade share your information with?
Soundmade does not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties outside of its
affiliates or service providers without your consent, except as described here.
● Affiliated Companies: We may share information, including data from cookies, device IDs,
and location data, with affiliated companies to deliver and enhance our services.
● Service Providers: Soundmade shares certain data, such as cookies and usage data, with
third-party companies that support our service. These service providers have limited
access to your data solely to perform their services for Soundmade.
● Advertising Partners: We may share data with third-party advertising networks, allowing
them to show you targeted ads of potential interest.
● Public Authorities: We may disclose your personal data to public authorities, including the
police or tax authorities, if required by law or as part of a specific, legally substantiated
inquiry.
If Soundmade is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal data may be
transferred as part of the transaction, subject to the privacy terms then in place.
You may delete your personal data by logging into your profile, navigating to settings, and
deactivating your account. Soundmade retains your data only as long as necessary to fulfill the
service’s purpose, and upon closure or deletion of your account, we anonymize or securely
delete your personal data, subject to Danish Accounting Act requirements for financial data,
which mandates retaining purchase records for up to five years.
In certain cases, Soundmade may retain your personal information longer to comply with legal
obligations or resolve disputes.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the service. If Soundmade discovers it has collected
data from users under 18 without parental or legal consent, we will delete the data and close the
account. Users between the age of 13 to 17 may use the services with permission and consent
from parents or guardians.
Notification of Underage Users
If you know of users under 18 using Soundmade without parental consent, please contact us at

You may withdraw your consent to Soundmade’s data processing at any time by contacting us
at [email protected]. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing
prior to the withdrawal.
After account deletion, Soundmade retains a backup of your information for six months, after
which it will be anonymized or deleted unless otherwise required by law.
To address the account of a deceased user, please reach out to [email protected]. We
generally respond to these requests via email.
Soundmade may periodically update this policy. We encourage you to review this policy
regularly to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of the service following policy updates
constitutes acceptance of the changes.
