Tim Christensen is a Danish musician, singer, songwriter, and producer, best known for his work as the lead singer and guitarist in the rock band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. 

At the age of 12, Tim started playing the guitar and soon began writing his own songs. Tim’s parents were both music lovers, and his father played guitar, which helped to foster his interest in music from a young age. In 1991, at the age of 17, he formed the band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy with bassist Martin Nielsen and drummer Søren Friis. The band quickly gained popularity, winning a national music competition in 1993, and their debut album “Dizzy Mizz Lizzy” released in 1994 was a commercial success, selling over 250,000 copies in Denmark alone. The album was characterized by Tim’s intricate guitar work and melodic songwriting, which drew comparisons to classic rock bands like Queen and Led Zeppelin. 

Following the success of their debut album, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy embarked on a tour of Denmark and Europe, and their music was well-received by audiences and critics alike. In 1996, the band released their second album “Rotator,” which was also a commercial success, selling over 200,000 copies in Denmark. The album featured hit songs like “Love is a Loser’s Game” and “Barbedwired Baby’s Dream,” which cemented Dizzy Mizz Lizzy’s place in Danish rock music history.   

After the success of Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Christensen launched his solo career in 2000 with the album “Secrets on Parade”. The album was a critical and commercial success, debuting at number one on the Danish album charts and earning Christensen a Danish Music Award for Best Male Singer. 

In 2003, Christensen released his second solo album, “Honeyburst,” which was once again a commercial and critical success. The album was certified platinum in Denmark and earned Christensen two Danish Music Awards, for Best Danish Male Singer and Best Danish Songwriter.
